About Remote Viewing
Remote Viewing is the retrieval of psychically derived accurate information about a person, place, thing, or event, anywhere in time or space, using a precise set of protocols which facilitate the downloading of data while minimizing mental noise, imagination, and analysis.
Remote Viewing, as a trainable skill, that anyone could learn without ever having a previous "psychic" experience, was not a known innate human ability until very recently, when the United States government contracted Stanford Research Institute to develop a reliable psi technology for intelligence collection purposes. The DoD's investigation into the usefulness of psi was the direct result of intelligence in the 1970s which showed that the Soviets were investigating and employing psychics for espionage.
After years of experiments, a brilliant psychic and artist named Ingo Swann, who had been the subject of much of the early remote viewing research at S.R.I., directed his attention at his own psychic process and modeled it. These newly discovered techniques in the early 1980s allowed virtually anyone, after intensive rigorous training, to successfully learn to effectively remote view with an accuracy rate higher than the best known natural psychics.
Swann was contracted to train an Army prototype five member remote viewing team, which consisted mostly of military intelligence officers. The results were more than anyone had hoped for, and the technology was continually refined and tested against some of the intelligence community's most difficult national security targets. The government kept this a tightly held secret for over ten years, with a total expenditure of $20 million dollars on the program.
In the mid 1990's due to changes in leadership, attrition in the ranks of the trained remote viewers, and attempts by some to clear the government of any potentially embarrassing programs (in the wake of Iran Contra), the program was finally canceled. However, in 1989, against the wishes of the then civilian administrator, a private corporation named PSI TECH was formed with the assistance of the former commanding General of INSCOM, with the mission to preserve the technology. This company employed many of the current and former military viewers and continued to contract work from the intelligence community. Many of the viewers eventually spun off and founded their own remote viewing enterprises.
Professional remote viewers and their students today have continued to apply the techniques and incorporate them into their every day lives. Some have used
the techniques to solve medical problems, find lost pets, missing valuables, examine anomalous phenomena, determine the gender of an unborn fetus, and solve difficult problems plaguing the world. With remote viewing, there are no more secrets.
